Walking around the grounds at the Thyme Garden, visitors find the Shade Garden, Hillside Garden, Culinary Garden, Medicinal Garden, Edible Flower Garden, Crooked Creek and more. Each unique garden has a theme and its own look, style and smell. Fresh herbs and flowers surround each path throughout the Thyme Garden walkways.

Mother's Day Celebration - May
May brings visitors to the Thyme Garden for a Mother's Day Celebration. With music, food, wine, beer, arts and crafts booths, and herb plant sales, the event attracts crowds of visitors. This free event is held each Mother's Day weekend. Visitors can choose to make a herbal hanging basket for moms, choosing their favorite thyme, rosemary, basil, lavender, parsley, or annual flower. The Mother's Day Celebration draws crowds to the Thyme Garden in honor of mom's.
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Everything - July
A midnight stroll through the Thyme Garden makes for a joyous July evening in Oregon. Visitors enjoy food, wine and music during the event followed by a campfire. Walking through the forest at night can be magical or spooky, depending on how one makes light of it. This event celebrates the summer herbs and smells of the garden.
Wedding at Thyme Garden
Guests can reserve the Thyme Garden to celebrate weddings with friends and family. The beautiful grounds require minimal additional decor providing a naturally elegant setting. Wedding parties can camp at the grounds. The Thyme Garden also provides catering of wedding events at the gardens.
An Organic Thyme Garden
The Thyme Garden is a family-owned organic garden, producing hundreds of varieties of herb plants and seeds. The plants and seeds are grown organically and harvested by hand. The greenhouses are open to visitors. Seeds and plants can be purchases at the garden or at the Thyme Garden website. Some of the Thyme Garden products include:

The Thyme Garden Herb Company is located just east of Alsea, Oregon along Highway 34, among Oregon's coast range mountains. If traveling west from Corvallis, the Thyme Garden is located just after the climb up Mary's Peak. The Thyme Garden is open daily during the spring from 10 am to 5 pm after April 15th. Summer hours commence June 15th as the garden is only open Friday, Monday and weekends from 10 am to 5 pm.
